No, that's not what REL is for.

Misusing HTML 4.01 attributes to hold machine-readable data is arguably
worse than (say) inventing new, non-standard attributes to do the same
thing.
But neither practice is compatible with the microformats philosophy of
building on "existing and widely adopted standards".
