0.5 M^3/sec* 3600 sec/hour * 24 hours = 43200 M^3 = 43,200,000 liters Then the height of the reservoir level changes due to loss of water volume needs to be taken in consideration to insure that the 19 meter head is not affected, which implies that the reservoir level should not change more than a 2 or 3 % of the initial water starting point, resulting in having a reservoir that maybe much larger in size if the reservoir is used ,as well as, part of the head of the system.
