I am interested in combining wind and micro hydro. The
microhydro would be a closed system for storing
energy. Two water reservoirs would be set up, one
elevated up the hill relative to the other.  Wind
would be use to pump the water to the higher potential
energy reservoir. The water can then be used on demand
as a microhydro system generating power when required,
draining back to the lower reservoir, to be recycled
back to the top by wind power.

Is this a sensible idea, I have no experience in this?
