Yes indeed, propeller turbines for low head MHP sites are the less common of all types of turbines. There are builders in Canada; Sweden; Per� (Tepersa: Mr. Celso D�vila, [EMAIL PROTECTED]); Sumatra: Mr. Muh Eno, and probably other countries. Those of delevoped countries are some expensive for application in third world countries. Here in Chile we need a propeller turbine for installing it vertically in an open trough free falling the water again to the river after used in a trout enterprise, with 6 m head for 15 kWe harnessing. Existing civil works and constant and good flow are very suitable for such a turbine application.
