This is exactly what we are doing at Planetary Power and it works well. Please check the archives for a detailed description of our experiences that I posted to the group on 18 August 2004, titled "Aquair Submersible Generator". Place the Aquair immediately on the downstream side of the hole, with the propellor facing upstream.
