Thanks for all the information, especailly about the Harbor Freight
gen.
I will be measureing the width/depth and making sort of a map of the
area that I want to put the wheel in. As far as hearing, I can weld
an industrial chain around the outside edge of the wheel and drive a
spoket with it, this gives me a very high surface ft per min to start
will so gearing is simplifed.
In a college geology class we had an exercise to figure the area of a
part of a stream bed, I think I should go dig out my notes.
