Gratuitously, I am reminded of first hearing of yurts on a Bob and Ray radio
show in about 1957. They had a prolonged discussion on the merits of various
yurt carts (what you carry a yurt on) without any mention as to what a yurt
was. That led to my dictionary search for the answer.

In keeping with "you can find most anything on Google",

has

"Eric,

Maybe I got lucky and just the display is knocked out. Yeah, right.
EMP is interesting. I just hate to learn about new subjects with this type
of show and tell method.
See ya,

  Hi Chris,

  Like'd your website!

My girlfriend wants to build a yurt so we will be anxiously monitoring
your site/progress.

  Back in the mid '80s i designed/sold /installed microhydro systems for a
living. Completed 8 systems in the New England area then went out of
business. My site here in Orford,NH has a 1 kw, 4 kw, and 16kw
turbo/generator sets. If you want or need a second opinion or just want to
do a site visit let me know.

I'm guessing your local solar guy is Richard Gottlieb from Sunnyside
Solar.......he's an old friend and great all around guy..............Mark

Hi, we are building an alternative (well, to some of you this may not
be alternative at all) home in Vermont and intend to go with an off-
grid power system. Solar with backup generator had been our plan but
we've discovered a strong water source uphill from our building site.
Our intended solar system vendor doesn't seem interested in working
with microhydro. Anyone know of a vendor/dealer/designer in Vermont,
New Hampshire, NE New York or Massachusetts? We can install but would
prefer to works with someone on design, so we don't make rookie
    mistakes.

Our project web site is http://www.chriscouture.us/yippee/

    Cheers,

    Chris
