Gday Nando

I do not purport to know a great deal about this topic. It would be
nice if you would elaborate a bit. Should I say 400W rather than 2kW?

On Tamil Net I saw a webpage of a poor labourer who built a micro
hydro scheme by himself. He build an earth dam about 5ft high. He used
a scrap pipe about 7" diameter as a penstock. For a wheel he made a
very crude wheel using angle iron and flat metal plate, used reaction
force rahter than weight. Yes I am at the beginning of the learning
curve. I feel that being uniformed is different to being a fool. How
to overcome being uninformed? read books, ask questions..

I read one person that used an electric trolling motor in reverse as a
micro hydro scheme for power when camping. Cost $99. He moved a few
rocks to create a funnel.
