Hi Dan, I may be interested in one of your systems. I am the very begining
stages so i don' t have all the info. I want to help put in a simple system
in the dominican republic for a small community with no elec. as a personal
development proj. It looks like they have a good stream on a good down grade
(mountain side).

I know I have little info but I am hoping that you might give me an approx
price on a system - so that I could start getting a very "approximate" idea
of what kind of funds I'd need to start raising.

I want to provide maybe 50 households with electricity all within a 2
kilometer radius, I don't know how much electricity they would want per
household, but I don't think they know either - so at this point I'm
projecting each house would have a simple outlet for a light or two and
maybe some small appliance.

I'm not expecting quotes for building the diversion/ screen/
powerhouse/pipes - but probably for the generator, turbine, governor,
controls and emergency shutdown system - and I am sure I am probably missing
something.

I am providing a photo of the stream in dry season in case it helps.
I don't know if this is enough information to get some kind of idea of a
system and perhaps some approx quote.

thanks

Ed Dufort
