Alastair: We need to get information about the generators as well as the excitation winding to define the type of circuitry needed to make the generator to produce energy and at the same time to see what type is needed to maintain an accurate regulated output voltage.
Please define the generator RPM, Volt out, Max Current out, Frequency, excitation field resistance and voltage and current limits for it. What type of ELC controller are there ( Electronic Level Controller) and the Ballast size ( watts or Kilowatts) and resistances and the number of ballasts steps.
