Doug: Did you start with a passenger vehicle alternator, or a 18 wheeler/construction/farm equipment alternator ? What type of external regulator/controller are you using ? Was your source of heavy duty brushes the ford dealer or was it an alternator rewind shop ? And what type of output do you get from one unit ? I would appreciate hearing more about your system.
