Hi all! I work on a small hydropower project in Northern Laos (2 x 1.2 MW, Horizontal Francis). I am still hesitating between european suppliers, and chinese supplier (much closer) for the hydroelectrical equipment. Chinese are about 60% cheapper (!!!!), even if quality is not the same, that got to make me think! I decided to go to China pretty soon to visit suppliers and the HRC (http://www.hrcshp.org) in Hangzhou as China is quite close from here, but before getting there and entering into a negotiation, I would like to get a draft commercial contract for turbine purchasing, as it is my first time purchasing such an equipment, in order to identify all the issues related to this kind of contract (guarantee, maintenance, payment conditions etc..).
So if by any chance you have an old turbine purchasing contract, or a draft or something that can help me to identify the main issues that I have to be aware of, please let me know!!
