Yesterday at the JBNHS/FNC Election Day Sparrow Walk in New Paltz, conversation revealed that no one of the group had seen any tree sparrows yet, although the juncos and White-throated Sparrows had been back for some time. As if to fulfill an unspoken wish, an American Tree Sparrow is at our tube feeder this morning in New Paltz.
