What, you mean you didn't eat it for lunch?

While driving back from work this morning I spotted what looked like a very
unusual white gull flying along the water by Esopus Bend National Park
(EBNP). At first I thought it was a hybrid Ring-billed Gull with an Ivory
Gull, but then I noticed it had some pinkish color on the underside. Just
by luck I had my camera with me and managed to roll down the window to get a
decent photo from the bridge. I think it is definately a FOS adult Ross's
Gull in breeding plumage. See for yourself:

Directions: From Kingston proceed north to Malden-on-the- Hudson then go
another 2K miles northwest until you reach the town of Churchill. Just
after entering the town, turn right about a mile before where the old
Walldrugs store used to be before they tore it down and scan the water for
the bird feeding along the shoreline. Good luck, keep warm, and you might
want to pack a lunch.
