Dave Elliot Road, Saugerties

Several first-of-season Black-throated Green Warblers, Ovenbird, House
Wrens, and a Virginia Rail were heard singing this evening along Dave
Elliot Road in extreme northern Ulster County. Second generation (blood
thirsty) Black Flies were also out in force for the first time this
evening.

Earlier today I heard several Yellow Warblers and a House Wren in East
Kingston.
