Went to the SGNWR today between Noon and 3pm. I was there at the worst time of the day for birding, and it was balzing hot out. Still managed to see the following species Meadolark, Bobolink (FOS for me)Red Breasted Woodpecker, Killdeer, Goldfinch, Bluebird, Tree Swallows, Red Wing Blackbrids, Canada Goose, Turkey, Turkey Vulture,and what I believe to be a Palm Warbler.
They were also mowing with a large tractor the entire time I was there. All sightings were on the trail in and the area on either side of the pond.
