Today above Duck Pond at the Mohonk Preserve, I saw male adult Blue-winged
Warbler, BUT instead of white wing-bars there was a large golden patch covering
the area

Is this some form of hybrid (not the classics) with the Golden-winged, or a
normal variation of the Blue-winged?

-or not possible to say, second-hand? Any ideas?
