1. I get a news feed called "Smart News" on my cell phone. Lately it has been
covering more aviation articles with excellent analysis and depth. Yesterday
the feature article involves AA and why they got rid of all their 757s. If
anyone can cut and paste this article, it's well done.
2. Re the Sunday NYT, they had a full page spread on Southwests Bob Jordan. It
was heavily hagiographic. In one Q & A Jordan was asked when the impetus for
the many upcoming changes started. He replied that they had been in the works
for a while and that they were they were "...not driven by Eliott". Baloney
