True. Regretfully, if customers are told “stories” often enough, eventually they’ll cease to believe most of what they’re told. They won’t believe that they’ll see their onboard belongings again if they abandon them (at least anytime soon) and they may not believe the inevitable announcements which told them to leave such things as they exit because it is dangerous. >From this we learn that telling fibs to folk who buy your products and upon >which your livelihood depends is a bad idea. Although ultimately everyone was safely evacuated, many of the passengers left the airplane with their belongings, which infuriated and disappointed a number of FlyerTalk members because of the potential dangers and risks of doing so.
