Hi Jack,

True. Regretfully, if customers are told “stories” often enough, eventually
they’ll cease to believe most of what they’re told. They won’t believe that
they’ll see their onboard belongings again if they abandon them (at least
anytime soon) and they may not believe the inevitable announcements which told
them to leave such things as they exit because it is dangerous.

>From this we learn that telling fibs to folk who buy your products and upon
>which your livelihood depends is a bad idea. It might reach the point that
>customers don’t believe anything you say, including what the true price of the
>service you sell is or should be. Oh wait…we reached that stop years ago.

I ‘gotta go,

Old Man Wardell

Subject: [Mifnet 🛰 73403] when will they see their left behind bags?

keady -we all know the reason for this. Evacuating passengers fear they will
never see their bags again. Promise them it won't be so.

Passengers Evacuate With Their Belongings Yet Again

173 passengers and six members of the flight crew evacuated from a Boeing 737
MAX 8 airplane in Denver that operated as American Airlines flight 3023 because
of a malfunction of the landing gear while it was on the runway to take off to
Miami on the afternoon of July 26, 2025 — and smoke emanated from a small fire
which erupted as a result. Although ultimately everyone was safely evacuated,
many of the passengers left the airplane with their belongings, which
infuriated and disappointed a number of FlyerTalk members because of the
potential dangers and risks of doing so.
