SO, whatever comes your way will be out there in the world. Please feel free to share anything that comes your way from here, my primary purpose is to be helpful. With that, I was reading a Sean Broderick AvWeek article about the Boeing 777-9 TC problems, wrapped around an interview with CEO Kelly Ortberg. Mr Ortberg complained about the FAA certification problems and in the article Sean drifted into the Boeing ODA story, reaching back to 2021 when the FAA sent a "blistering" (his word, love it) letter to the ODA. It's an easy read to see the ODA was representing Boeing, not the FAA. Not good. Some of my yammering is about delegation, it's intentional because delegation can't afford for the world to think "the fox is guarding the henhouse", as Sen Blumenthal once said. He wasn't the first & he won't be the last. It's on us all.
