Continental totally redid Terminal C so it was nothing like the original Newark although that remodel is past its prime
Terminal A has been redone recently Only Terminal B is still largely in its original form. Presumably this coming rebuild will rebuild Terminal B – maybe in a way that also includes an update to Terminal C From: ERIC Smith via Mifnet <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 5:59 PM To: Jack Keady via Mifnet <[email protected]> Cc: ERIC Smith <[email protected]> Subject: [Mifnet 🛰 74742] Re: EWR The condition of the taxiways and runways is certainly better. Port Authority plans LaGuardia, Newark terminal rebuilds The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey unveiled a 10-year capital development proposal with $20.7 billion in airport projects, including reconstructing a terminal at both New York LaGuardia (LGA) and Newark Liberty International (EWR) airports. The proposal for capital projects, now open to public comment, is a follow-up to the Port Authority’s 2017-25 capital plan that yielded a series of airport revamps. These include soon-to-open Terminals 1 and 6 at New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), a new Terminal A at EWR and rebuilds of two terminals at LGA.
