I ran the batch job with the changes. I killed it after 3 hours because it
hadn't started the main body which produces some log messages.
I will talk to Vinod about the specifics of why it slowed down and what might
be done when he's available.
I'm conscious that 'new holidays' might not be the only case that needs to be
catered for. There might be a delete and even an update. Also office
transfers. Kay will be discussing the relevance of these soon.
