Currently, when creating a group savings product with individual contributions,
Mifos is asking for the deposits from each individual and not at the group
level. This feature is supposed to be a group savings account and the
individual contributions its just used to calculate the amount due for each
week (as membership changes in the group, the amount due each week should
shift).
REPRO:
1. Create a mandatory savings product for a group with individual contribution
(recommended amount: 10 rupees)
2. Apply to group with a few clients
3. Advance server forward to next center meeting
Scenario 1: CSE
4. Open CSE to make payments
EXPECTED: CSE shows payment due (10 x # of clients) in the group row. No
boxes appear for clients or empty boxes (May need to check expected behavior)
ACTUAL: CSE shows each individual payment attributed to each member
Scenario 2: Manual payment
4. Open up group savings account and click on Make deposit/withdrawal
EXPECTED: Amount due shows payment due (10 x # of clients)
ACTUAL: Amount displayed is zero
NOTES:
* It is unclear if this feature has ever worked correctly and we are not aware
of anyone currently using the savings product this way
* It appears the functional spec may not be correct as well:
