Andrew H commented on MIFOS-3670:
---------------------------------

Update:

For the pages that use jsp to display, like the Collection Sheet entry
process pages, it seems that the numbers are printed right from the java
classes to the display. I looked at jsp pages, like the bulk entry, and bulk
entry preview, and a few others and there isn't any on clear point that the
numbers are formatted at. So far it seems like changing the Money.java class to
have a method that returns a formatted number based on locale might be one way
to go, however for obvious reason I don't want to start taking this approach
yet as it means editing one of the core classes. I'm going to see if there's a
way to do it only using the jsp pages but so far it doesn't look like it. This
week coming up is Final Exam week for Jon and I so my next update may not be
until after that.

> For some currencies this will not be an issue but we are disbursing loans of
> 5000 and 50,000 depending on the cycle number of the client so it would be
> great if we could configure it to include a thousand separator or if this
> became the default for a future version of mifos.
