Hello all,
I¹m here with Jessica Cheng and she¹s going through the Mifos install guide
on mifos.org. There are some things that are a bit misleading, so I was
hoping to get some clarity.
* Software Requirements We list the current versions but what is the
minimum version? For example, we list Java 6 Update 18, but Jessica had
Update 17 installed. That would work, correct? Shouldn¹t we update these
with the minimum versions?
* Java SDK/JDK vs JRE If you¹re doing an install, you do not need the JDK
correct? You can use the JRE right? I would think we should update this to
use the JRE right?
* Mysql Will using the 64 bit version of mysql work as well? Or are we
just saying 32 bit to limit confusion on the install guide?
