Asheikh, The issue with moving the system date back and forth is primarily a data integrity issue since Mifos isn¹t really built around that paradigm. You could do it and you will probably be fine, but you still may run into odd issues, especially if you run the batch jobs intermittantly in the process or if you switch the date forward, then back, then forward, then back (ie, let¹s say you missed a payment). It¹s just not the ideal way to backdate data, but probably the only feasible way until tools or features are built to allow it.
It will probably be fine if the data set is small and its only for a demonstration.
