To see the specific java version, type "java -version" at a command line prompt. Should see something like "java version 1.6.0_14" Also, stop tomcat and delete this directory: $CATALINA_HOME/work/Catalina/localhost/mifos Where $CATALINA_HOME is the directory where tomcat is installed. In a Windows command line prompt, you can type "set catalina" and you should see the directory for CATALINA_HOME. If deleting the mifos directory under work/Catalina/localhost doesn't resolve your problem, check the Mifos.log file for errors.
