Thanks Ryan.  I had a look at the document at that link and it seems
very complex for loans.  Does that apply to both flat interest and
declining balance interest rate accounts as if we are applying a flat
rate wouldn't the rate be the same regardless of how many installments
had been paid already? Am I oversimplifying it?
