Hello Kimani,

applicationConfiguration.custom.properties file should be placed in .mifos directory in user home folder.

By default it should be:
* For windows C:\Users\username\.mifos
* For linux /home/username/.mifos

In order to change path of configuration directory you should set environment variable:
MIFOS_CONF=/home/pawel/.mifos

More information about configuring Mifos can be found here: http://mifos.org/documentation/configuration

You can also try http://www.mifcloud.com/ which can save you a lot of time configuring mifos - it can be tested 30 days for free.

Best regards,
Pawel

Kimani,

Its looks like your trying to install our legacy mifos software. Maybe someone supporting this software can get back to you on this issue.

Other than that I do recommend you moving to our newer mifos X platform software unless you have very good reason to be looking at the legacy product.

    is applictionConfiguration.custom file which require some settings.

    How do I set mifos to read from this file? on my first run.
