I still prefer a bridge. It allows me to apply bridge filters between
ports easier than the switch does.

up to do user master and slave ports, but still has to bridge
between wlan1 and master port so there is still a bridge. That's
not the only reason I don't like using that setup. I like to know
what's going on at a glance; the master slave port setup show all

nothing, That doesn't help me know where traffic is coming from
and going to on those switched ports.
