Speaking of reloads, I have really been unable as late to do a md-mx-ctrl reload since switching to the embedded perl. It frankly doesn't seem to use the changed subfilter. I see the slaves being restarted in the logs and if I stop and start, everything works as expected. We are using Perl 5.8.
