This is regarding the mimedefang-2.67 port on FreeBSD 7.1

The problem leaves this evidence in /var/log/maillog

This sounds similar to an old problem I read about, and it took a long time for the port to get upgraded, so I haven't mentioned it until now, since I just recently upgraded. I thought 2.67 might fix the issue.

The solution had been to do a "mimedefang.sh stop", wait around five seconds, then do a "mimedefang.sh start". A restart didn't cut it.

The delay didn't seem to be an issue after the update, so that problem might be solved, but the real issue is mimedefang not ramping up on reboot.

I'm guessing something is trying to start before something else is ready, but I'm pretty clueless past that.

Any suggestions?
