Note that it doesn't have any provision for jumbo or baby jumbo frames,
so you're restricted to 1492 MTU, even when doing PPPoA/PPPoE conversion.

We're likely to see more of it as telcos move from ATM to ethernet
infrastructure. Expect a disgusting mess of pppoe over tag-stacked vlans
on the telco->isp side. At least there is a way to negotiate 1500 MTU
now (rfc4638 which at least some ISPs support).
