google found this:

# sysctl hw.setperf=30

Is that all I can do? Curious why kate (in dmesg) has:
kate0 at pci0 dev 24 function 3 "AMD AMD64 0Fh Misc Cfg" rev 0x00

I always run openbsd on my pc machines, but have moved and all I have
is this laptop :(

Thanks
b
