bwi is incomplete due to a lack of vendor documentation there may be improvement in dragonflybsd that is worth porting over, or you may get lucky, stick the PCI device ID for your card into the bwi driver, and see that it otherwise works...
your best bet may be to buy a better supported mini-pcie card and install it!
