Yeah, 800x600 should work in 8-bit mode on the NM2070. But glad you
got it working!

I'm using mine as a serial console for a sparc64 system, and with
72MB of ram it successfully avoids much swapping! :-)

There isn't a EXA backend for neomagic, not until someone writes one.
