Sure there is: #xhci* at pci? #usb* at xhci? :^) Well, at least one person has reported[0] issues with USB2.0 hub, which has been plugged into a USB2.0 port BTW (just to clarify). However, whether your issue is related to that one or whether xHCI enabled in the kernel has any impact on USB2.0 devices?
