As the OP on that thread, I can state it's well out-of-date. And the SEMIBUG presentation I wrote in December 2015 (date typo on the first page) is also out-of-date, as I would not recommend pkg_delete(1) -X on a build machine now that proot(8) is available. www.semibug.org/building.stable.v1.pdf
