For X, it's configured in your terminal emulator, e.g. for xterm you can use one of these :in .Xdefaults XTerm*termName: xterm-color XTerm*termName: xterm-256color For text console, /etc/ttys. For current OpenBSD versions (7.1 and on) xterm-color should be a reasonable choice too (for older versions, pccon). -- Please keep replies on the mailing list.
