Just to clarify this point, it was the other way around. Someone working on a driver for OpenBSD was using GPL'd code privately to inspire their development and accidentally committed GPL'd code to the public OpenBSD repo. There was a simple fix, but there was weeping and gnashing of teeth so the developer deleted it all. Tempest in a teapot, in my opinion, and understandable response from the developer. Justin
