I can not fully express how much I agree with what Stuart says here. I had originally intended to stay clear of this discussion entirely, since my take would have been along the lines of "sure, if you want to practice foot-shooting, please do it at a safe distance from others" or "if the overriding purpose is to find out just what it is possible to get away with, however temporarily, fine. But don't be too surprised when it blows up in your face." If you intend to attempt any of these things, please do so only on systems that do not matter at all to other people.
