Running an MTA without setting up SPF records in DNS will of course lead to issues. I am running sendmail myself. Not because I like it. Just because it was the MTA installed by default more than 2 decades ago and I am just lazy to change that system. TL;DR There have been plenty of additions I had to do to keep things working. Right now it is using SPF+DKIM. I am sending this message using that MTA and I doubt it will get filtered to some spam folder unintentionally anywhere. Regards, -- Christian
