Hello,

I'm looking on openbsd ports development and find that it goes very
slow. The software is outdated, there are still a lots of packages
missed.
The reason why is clear. There is a lack of maintaners. Maintainers is
busy and unable to update packages in time.

In other side there is a pkgsrc project. Much more maintaieners involved
in this project because pkgsrc works on different OSes and more peoples
is intrested in it.

So the question is maybe it will be better when ports team begin works
on improving pkgsrc for openbsd needs instead of development their own
ports tree?

Alex
