Hi,

Is there a possible simple trick to generate dummy interrupts in a control fashion on an AMD system for testing?

So, that I could increase the constant level of interrupts that the server would need to process per seconds as an example?

So, far it doesn't look like the problem is with interrupts, but I want to make sure of it.

I crash it any time when I write and it reach ~4K interrupts per seconds, but I sure can read and crank this up way pass 16K as long as I make sure I don't write anything to the drive, it will keep running. So, that make me really think it wouldn't be in the interrupts part of the code, but to be sure, I would push it more and see.

Is that possible to do?

May be just a stupid thought I have for testing.

Thanks
