C'mon now. It's not that bad. How else are you going to employ 120 developers and project managers to build a shopping cart app? And buying 40 multi-core 8 gig app servers every now and then really helps those struggling hardware makers. In short, Java helps the economy. Since all things not helping the economy are now evil...you don't want OpenBSD to be evil do you?
