How about rdr-ing to different multicast addresses depending on who you want the packet to go to?

Start doing this though, and the configuration is going to get a bit messy.

e.g. 3 multicast addresses, with their members:

mcastA - trapdest1
mcastB - trapdest2
mcastC - trapdest1,trapdest2

then you can decide who to send the trap to by rdr'ing it to one of mcastA, mcastB or mcastC


Certainly seems to violate the principle of least astonishment...
