You seem to still think that the connection was *from* Dell *to* you.
THAT IS WRONG.  Dan even pointed that out in the message you quoted!

Note: *outgoing* connection, *from* your server.

If you want to know more about the connection, you should grep that
same log file for the other log messages from that sm-mta process.
i.e., something like

     grep 'sm-mta\[23903\]' /var/log/maillog.old
