As I said in my previous email, this device is not being probably detected by OpenBSD 4.2.. so regardless of the application you decide to use, you'll need to update to a newer release of OpenBSD. The relevant device nodes would most likely be /dev/cuaU0 and /dev/ttyU0 as well.. not /dev/usb1. -Brynet
