Did anyone notice where Obama said that everyone would be required to have health insurance the same way that they are required to have car insurance? I loved this statement. I sit here unemployed hardly able to afford anything and Obama wants to make me a criminal. If I can't afford car insurance, I don't have a car and walk or take public transport. What am I supposed to do if I can't afford health insurance? Stop living? Then he goes straight into a low public option. PUBLIC OPTION????? Where is the option? According to his statement I have to buy health insurance no matter what or be a criminal. I am not too sure he hasn't been listening to the HSUS as this is how they operate on dog breeders and owners. The other thing I want to point out - insurance is 1/6 of our countries economy. He pointed this out. So, now I pose the question, since the government took down the auto industry, do you really think that he doesn't want control of the insurance industry? After that, the government has control of the economy. Yes, health insurance needs to be reformed. Obama came out with some good ideas of what needs to be done in the beginning, but notice it was not his idea. McCain got credit for those ideas. Tell me this man does not know how to give a talk to sugar coat everything and make it look good. He sure did tonight for most but not for me.
