Hi Klaus, what is your system configuration (versions of ITK, VTK, Qt? Windows or Linux, perhaps which version?)? Anything we should know about the kind of images you want to segment? At the moment, InteractiveSegmentation is known to fail with ITK 3.10, with 3.8 or 3.6 it works fine on our machines.
